The Garden

The Garden is almost complete and we are looking forward to using it as an outdoor learning resource and to provide a quiet space at playtimes.  Our volunteer Outdoor Assistants will be keeping it neat and tidy.  The Eco team sale of school jumpers made £30 to buy birdfeeders and bird seed and the music area will be up and running soon.

We are absolutely thrilled with the transformation of the area and how it has enhanced our learning environment.  You can see from the before and after photographs how wonderful the development is.

On behalf of our pupils I would like to express a huge thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts through the Coop and the School Lottery.  Thank you to our brilliant PTA for their fundraising.  Thank you to Heidi Simpson for organising and co-ordinating the development and for the time and commitment to getting the project complete.  To C.R Civil for generously supplying a team and machinery to transform the area at no cost to the school.  Thank you to Michelle Knowles for sourcing the logs for our seating, to the Shaw family for donating the shed and the Loncaster family for donating all the plants.  Thank you.
