Class 6 spent an exciting 3 days with Fortem Engineering Ltd, when M’s mum, brought the company into school to work with our pupils. The children were involved in various activities; making a marshmallow tower, constructing bird boxes and den building on the school playground.
The experience proved to be a huge success and gave everyone the opportunity to learn about the role of an engineering company and to use tools and equipment found in the construction industry.
Each Y6 pupil was presented with a certificate after completing the workshop, awarded for their teamwork during the programme. Well done Year 6!
Thank you to Mrs Garbutt and the Fortem team for organising the visit.
