helping children realise their gifts and talents

Reading Extended

After reading the book Eagle in the Snow by Michael Morpurgo in her group reading time in school, ‘I’ wanted to find out more about Belgium and the languages that are spoken there. She asked her mum and together they found out that there are three main languages spoken in Belgium. She then brought in a sentence in each language along with their national flags. It is wonderful to see the impact reading has on children and how through the enjoyment of reading, they can further their own knowledge and understanding of the world. Well done ‘I’
